I was born in 1986 in Istanbul, Turkey where I graduated from Sabanci University Visual Arts and Communication Design program. During my studies, I worked as an intern in various companies including Lowe Worldwide Advertising Agency,  Istanbul Museum of Modern Arts and Harper’s Bazaar Magazine.

To widen my artistic perspective, I attended several summer courses abroad in well known institutions like Parsons The New school for Design, RISD and Central Saint Martins London.

My passion for Matte Painting started when I bought David Mattingly’s “Digital Matte Painting Handbook”. As a student who got criticized about my own illustrations being so realistic, I fell in love with matte painting. In order to turn this amazing artform into my career path, I started my MFA studies at Academy of Art University in 2012, majoring in Visual Effects. I’m currently working as a freelance matte painter in Los Angeles.

I’m seeking an artistic position within a quality driven, creative company where I can demonstrate my artistic skills, while also being a part of a team that creates stunning visual elements in the film industry.
